19RD PENNY BASEPLATE FOR CANIK MC9L/LS/PRIME
Made to fit the Canik MC9LS, MC9L, or MC9 Prime.
You are looking at an extension baseplate that adds +4 to the Canik/Mec-Gar 15rd magazines for a total of 19 rounds. The correct magazine part number is MA595 or MA2373. Re-uses the same spring that is already in the magazine. All you need to retain the baseplate onto the magazine is a penny! Sounds cheesy right? This is literally the cheapest way to lock the baseplate onto the magazine tube. The baseplate has detents inside the slot that prevent the penny from falling out during drops or rough handling.

INSTALLATION:
1. Remove the factory baseplate and the plastic piece attached the the bottom of the spring, these are not used.
2. Compress the spring inside the metal magazine tube and use a small 3/32" allen wrench through the ammo indicator holes to hole the spring fully inside the tube.
3. Slide the new extension baseplate onto the bent flanges of the magazine tube.
4. Insert a PENNY (you supply this) into the slot in the baseplate and push it down until only about 5/32" of the penny is showing. The penny will click into this slot slightly and won't come out unless you pry it out with a knifetip or flathead screwdriver.
5. Remove the allen key from the ammo indicator holes, allowing the bottom of the spring to drop into the baseplate.
6. Test for function by loading and unloading 19 rounds (if mounted to a 15rd magazine).
