15rd+0 PENNY BASEPLATE for MC9L / LS / PRIME (Keeps 15rd MA595 capacity)

15rd+0 PENNY BASEPLATE for MC9L / LS / PRIME (Keeps 15rd MA595 capacity)

SKU: MC9LSBP15+0

NEW IMPROVED DESIGN WORKS WITH MULTIPLE TYPES OF MAGAZINE MOUNTING SOLUTIONS! Made of glass reinforced polymer.

Do you have an MC9L / LS / MC9 PRIME and live in a 15rd state? This baseplate is for you! Since Canik does not make 15rd magazines for these pistols, this is designed ONLY for Canik MC9L / MC9LS / MC9 Prime (with magwell). Other pistol compatibility is not certain yet. It WILL fit with the Prime magwell or HurleyWelding magwell.

The 15rd magazines available from Canik do not fit the grip on the MC9L / LS / Prime. This baseplate allows the use of 15 round Canik / Mec-Gar magazines like (MA595 or MA2278 or MA2373) and keeps the capacity at 15 rounds, which is legal in states like Colorado or Vermont.

The design of this baseplate works either with the plastic piece that has the rectangular button, or on a bare spring if you use a penny inserted into the baseplate to lock it onto the magazine.

INSTALLATION:

All you need is a penny (not included)! This is the cheapest way (literally) to keep the baseplates locked onto the mag, and will not fall out when the mag is dropped. The penny snaps into the baseplate and retains the metal mag tube so the baseplate doesn't fall off. Re-uses the same spring that is already in the magazine. Easy to install.**

SPECS:

Material: Glass Fiber Reinforced Nylon, 3D printed

Color: Black

INSTALLATION:

1. You must have a Canik 15rd metal magazine tube. The same tube is present on the MA595 and MA2373 magazines.

2. Remove the factory baseplate. If the spring has a plastic piece with a rectangular button on the bottom, leave that on. If your magazine has a metal bent clip on the bottom of the spring, take that off.

3. Compress the spring inside the metal magazine tube.

4. Slide the new baseplate onto the bent flanges of the magazine tube.

5. Slide a penny (you supply this) between the baseplate and the back of the metal tube. Make sure it pushes all the way down so it is not above the baseplate at all see product pictures for correct placement).

6. Test for function by loading and unloading 15 rounds.
