This design is a 3d-Printable DIY Rifle Chassis that can be made for a fraction of the cost of a milled aluminum Remington 700 chassis on the market. When properly printed and assembled, it improves ergonomics, stability, and functionality of a Remington 700 SHORT ACTION rifle. Allows short action AICS magazine compatibility instead of the factory hinged floorplate on a Remington 700 BDL. The design incorporates metal pillar bushings and steel recoil plate to reinforce the action screws and recoil lug. It is a simple drop-in design that does not require glass bedding unless you want to. It will accomodate REMAGE barrel nuts under 1.35" diameter, and recoil lugs up to 1/4" thick. The chassis takes standard M4 grips and is threaded at the rear to accept an AR15 carbine buffer tube. This allows any AR-style stock on the market to be added.
 
The printed fore-end design has integrated MLOK slots on bottom and sides, #10-32 sling stud holes, QD sling holes, and an integral 3” ARCA rail for shooting from a tripod. More upgrades are in the works, including a front picatinny mount for sighting systems and more.
